This is in a great location with easy access to the Thunderhead lift. Thunderhead isn't crowded in the mornings, so it's a great alternative to the base area!

Sweet location with an easy walk to mid mountain Thunderhead lift. Allows you to get to the top of the mountain early and get 3-4 runs in before any crowds. Easy process for check in and out all around

Great condo right off the slope… Enjoyed both the location and the amenities. It is up the road a bit from the base, so if you don’t have a car, you’re going to be relying on buses but for many that’s also a plus as it’s nice and quiet in the evening. Would definitely stay there again.

We have little children so the bunkbeds were great for our little ones. Ski lockers are located right outside our door and the laundry was next to our unit. As far as the lift, it was about a 4 minute walk up the road. The road isn't very busy and there is a place to park at the base of the thunderhead lift if you rather drop off your ski gear. The right o way trail is right there at the lift. Super handy. Not a true ski on ski off, but it is so close it is almost like one. Will definitely stay again.

Pro: Great, clean property with pool and hot tub access. Clear communication from property on parking, rules etc. Felt welcomed via the welcome packet. Con: Room view was the side of the hill and I didn’t realize that the main bedroom was downstairs and not on the main level. Not a big deal! Still had a great time! Far away from town and summer mountain activities. Had to drive rather than walk to festivities.

Cozy condo convenient to Steamboat Resort. Very clean. The parking lot was a bit precarious and icy and we did find a smoke detector unplugged above the refrigerator. We did not use the free shuttle as we found it more convenient to use our own car for transportation. We overall enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay. The condo is small but cozy and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The location is very convenient to the thuderhead lift which was great for skiing. We had issues with trying to utilize the free shuttle, as it was never available or went to the wrong location, however we understand that it was a busy festival weekend. Overall a great experience.

Was a really nice place for four adults for the weekend. Roomier than expected. The still photos made it seem smaller, the 380 tour shows the property better. The stairs could be challenging to navigate due to being narrow and steep.

Clean and comfortable condo. The master bedroom is huge and nice and cool in the lower level. The second bedroom is not a room but bunk beds behind a barn door off the main living area. Still worked fine.

We came to Steamboat to ski for a few days and had a great time staying at this lodge! It’s just a .2 walk to the nearest ski lift. You’re not in walking distance to the base or town but if you know ahead of time to download the Retreatia complimentary shuttle app, you can reserve a ride to any place! They’re quick and efficient! The lodge itself has all the extra amenities you might need plus some games and other perks! I would highly recommend!

Very well equipped condo and love the location, up high on the ski mtn. Nicely furnished, well - organized unit. Caveat is lack of handrail on spiral staircase with varying heights of steps - precarious. I'm sure I am not the first to take a tumble on it; just need to be very alert as you descend.

Nice studio apartment. Kitchen well stocked with all pans, pots, utensils you need to prepare meals. There are multiple units in the building, but only 2 managed by Retreatia so the shuttle service was by appointment only. Shuttle service was nice, but you need to schedule/reserve a ride to and from well in advance. The ski locker assigned to our unit had someone else's skis in it and we found our key opened another ski locker so we didn't use the lockers for lack of security. The hot tub worked well, but there were no towels. We were pleasantly surprised to find a sauna near the pool as well. We enjoyed the brand new Ticket to Ride game in the closet. We had three people (myself, my daughter, and a friend). The hideaway bed in the couch was more comfortable sleeping on it as a couch so we pulled the memory foam topper off and used it on the murphy bed. It was very comfortable. Personally, I think it would feel too tight with 4 people. easy check-in and check-out. We could not control the heat, so often had to crack the sliding door.

Perfect set up for 2, small complex which makes access from the parking lot to the unit and pool a breeze. Kitchen is well stocked and bed is comfortable. Short walk to the ski lift or if you have some skill on skis/board and their is good coverage you can ski straight to the run from the side entrance.
