Stonewood Chalet

The townhouse is very nice and clean. You don’t realize how big it really is until you get there. The walk is short to the mountain. We had a very good time here. We will be back for sure.

All in all everything was great. The house, instructions, cleanliness were top notch. Only downside is that on the day of check-in, the original rental we booked became unavailable due to significant maintenance issues. But, Retreatia notified us early that morning, and found us a comparable rental down the street. Great location for a large group an easy walk to the slopes.

We had a group of friends stay here for a spring ski weekend. This house was perfect in having 2 lounge areas and several bedrooms to provide some privacy with such a large group. It was walking distance to the ski resort or a 2 minute drive to drop folks off. It was also very close to downtown. The views were incredible!!! We’d love to stay here again.

Lovely unit, great for large groups with plenty of hang out space. Some helpful info for future renters: There's a bonus room not in the listing that has a full size bed (or futon). It's right off the main living room. There's also a half bathroom in addition to the 3 full bathrooms that were not in the listing. Lastly, the coffee is not the fancy machine in the picture- not a problem at all for us but for planning, it's just an old school Mr. coffee. Would rent this space again!

This place was great for our group! Lots of space and very clean. It was very hot in the downstairs bedrooms and was hard to control the temp, but otherwise was a great stay.

Great condo near the Steamboat base for any family or friends trip! The condo was well stocked and very clean. Free shuttle to take to the base and into town. Even when it was busy at the end of the day the condo was only an easy 10 minute walk. Would easily take my group to stay here again!

My son works in Steamboat and the family gathered in Steamboat for the weekend to visit. The house was as posted on VRBO and we loved it. 8 of us in total and plenty of bedrooms and room to spread out and in the heart on the village at the bottom of the mountain. Great time!

We had an amazing time at the stonewood Chalet! We came for a Bach party with the entire wedding party and we all had our own rooms and room to spare! Kitchen is huge. Some things weren’t perfect like, not many kitchen towels and some hardware in the bathroom upstairs was not completely assembled and kept falling off. But we enjoyed the view, the house, and steamboat!

We loved our time staying here for the weekend. It's a ~10-15min walk to the ski resort and a ~5min (free) shuttle. The place is HUGE and was ample room for 10 of us. There is a hot tub in the patio on the bottom floor and the kitchen comes stacked with many utensils + some seasonings. Would highly recommend.

The location of this house is amazing, we enjoy everything . The house has all the amenity that you would need. The location was perfect for us. We had a extremely good time , soon coming back :)

This place was very comfortable for 11 of us. Pillows are a little flat so you may want to bring your own. Big kitchen great place for larger groups! Jacuzzi worked great. Downstairs refrigerator wasn’t working but they let us know prior. Im
Not sure of the two bedrooms are real queens more like full size. The master is huge and super comfortable bed. I would recommend and would certainly stay again and the shuttles are amazing!

Property managers could not be more helpful or responsive. Kitchen has everything you could possibly want to facilitate cooking. Location is a short walk or a 2 minute drive from the gondola.

This house/townhome is beautiful. We had 12 people (20yo and older) and had plenty of space. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Bedrooms were nice and beds comfortable. Hot tub was great. Close to Steamboat ski area but about 10 min ride to downtown. Grocery store and restaurants close by. It was a convienant location for all of our activities. The a/c was key but didn't work well in the bunk room and one of the basement queen rooms. There were a few fans so that helped. The house has a lot of levels. You walk in and there is a half bathroom. Walk up a half flight and you have the Master bedroom. Walk up another half flight and you get the 2nd king bedroom. Back at the entrance you go down half a flight and you have the kitchen and living room and a den with a full bed in it. Go down another half a flight and there is the bunk bed room and laundry. Go down another half flight and you have the 2 queen rooms and another living room. The hot tub is also on this level. Now to knitpick- the top king room needs a new duvet cover- it is old and is not inviting. Also, the shades in that room are see thru and do NOT block the sun coming up in the morning and it is bright. In that bathroom there is a wooden/bamboo(?) mat in front of the sink that is broken and uncomfortable. Throw it away. They give bath towels but if you are there in the summer there are no beach towels for tubing, lake, or hot springs. Having said all that I would definately still recommend this place!

This house is beautiful and location is even better. It’s so close to the mountain which is a huge plus when skiing with kids. I would definitely go back again.

Condo was roomy. Plenty of space to spread everyone out. Nice big kitchen and well stocked with everything needed to cook nice breakfasts and dinners. Heated floors made it nice on our feet but the condo had smart thermostats that would automatically reset themselves to 74 degrees. We could never get the bedrooms cool enough. Very hard to sleep at 74 degrees when we are all used to sleeping at 62 degrees. Watch out for falling icicles! We had a car get its windshield bashed in with a huge one! No fun to deal with on vacation
