Description

You can't beat this Ski Trails condo for skiing, hiking, or biking - it's all right out your front door!

Between the location and layout, this home is made for the whole family. All it takes is a two minute walk from your front door, across the parking lot, and you'll be under the third gondola pylon, skiing, biking, or hiking to the base area for an amazing day on the mountain. In addition, restaurants, shops, and bars are all within walking distance and just minutes away. This is the only unit at Ski Trials with a private balcony. There is also a community hot tub - the perfect place to soak at the end of a busy day.

This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo has all the comforts of home. Just inside the entry are a large coat and boot rack to store all your gear. The living room has a sectional sofa, with recliners on each end, that seats six and faces the large, flat-screen TV and wood burning fireplace - the perfect space for the whole family to kick up their feet and relax. The kitchen has everything you need: modern appliances, ample counter and cabinet space, and bar seating for 3. The large dining table seats 7. The private balcony, accessible through two of the bedrooms, offers a quiet place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail as you take in the beautiful mountain view.

The master bedroom anchors the unit and has a flat screen TV (Roku access), queen bed with a log frame and log cabin accents throughout. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed. A queen bed plus twin trundle bed, new TV (Roku access), and rustic wood furnishings are in the third bedroom. Two spacious bathrooms, each with shower/tub combos are located just outside the bedrooms in the hallway.

This unit comes with a private ski locker that is located in the small exterior building on the left side of the parking lot, just left of the hot tubs. There is also a snowboard rack and ample space just outside the entry for all your outdoor adventure gear.

Great location. Very close to Gondola and trails. Furnishings are a little dated but the place is clean. Just to note, there is no washer/drier in the unit. You have to walk outside and it takes quarters. The hot tub area does not have any towels available so bring a robe or ask for extra towels.

Ski Trails 208 is in an ideal location (directly under the gondola) and Christy Sports is just a couple of blocks away. The condo was better equipped then most (additional toiletries, numerous cooking equipment, extra trash bags, ect.).

The condo itself could use a little updating, the storage lockers were kind of small (only able to fit 3 sets of skis, which could be a problem if you have 6 or 7 skiers) and there was no key to the laundry room. Other then these minor items this is a really good place to stay.

Loved our stay in this unit. Location was perfect within Steamboat. Check in and check out process were both smooth, especially as we were late arrivals. Unit itself was clean, had plenty of space and even has a VHS player.
