We stayed here the week before Christmas, 8 people, ages 59-18. We loved having 3 bathrooms and the bed configuration worked perfectly. Mattresses were a little lumpy but manageble. The kitchen was well stocked, having everything we needed plus some (dish soap, coffee filters, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, all paper products) We were skiing and the condo is on the bus line but even better was the Retreatia on-call shuttle which took us skiing, out to dinner and basically anywhere we wanted to go in town. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a shuttle and all was easily set up in the app. Drivers called us directly with any important details. Drivers loaded skis for us and were super helpful. The fireplace is not wood, rather it is a pellet fireplace, Read the directions. We could not get it started because of a blocked auger but my son fixed it and it worked great all week. The grill was brand new, worked great. The dryer is a condenser dryer, meaning it draws water out of clothes, into a tank. You must empty the tank daily as it fills up quickly. Dryer will not work otherwise. We had 2 issues while in Steamboat, a dead battery in our rental car; we called the Retreatia office to borrow jumper cables but a maintenance guy came right over to jump the battery! Also, we left a backpack upon check-out and they very kindly (at our cost) retrieved it and UPS'd the backpack to our home. We were also thankful for the Retreatia 20% off ski gear. We originally found this condo on VRBO but saved a bunch booking directly instead.
